NOBGFC:
Our tournament schedule this weekend is unchanged and we will fish Friday and Saturday with another great dinner on Saturday night. Please reserve your meals when you register with Joe Yurt.
Opening Season Tournament – Rough weather and changing OBBC dates limited the boats fishing. Congrats to the Fog Cutter for tagging the tournament’s only blue!
Ladies Tournament – June 11 – 13. This year’s tournament will be the 45th Annual and bigger than ever starting with a Lobster Boil after the Captain’s Meeting on Thursday. The goal is to make it similar to the Port Eads days with a big registration cocktail party and Lobster dinner on Thursday evening, so boats will depart Friday morning. Of course, Venice will be rocking on Saturday night with the biggest band in the Parish for the awards presentations and dinner. Our annual meeting will be held before the Captain’s Meeting and all members in good standing are welcome to come vote and enjoy a lobster dinner. PLEASE RSVP FOR THE LOBSTER DINNER SO WE CAN ORDER PROPERLY.
Many thanks to our committee and wonderful Chairladies, Beth Fisackerly and Leslie Willhoft along with their families and our sponsors – Rene Cross and Cypress Cove Grill, Port Ship Service, Professional Sport Shop, and Boat Stuf. Very special thanks to Angie and Lee LeBouef and L&L Marine who heard about the lobster dinner and very generously offered to sponsor it. Please thank Angie and Lee and all of our great sponsors for their support. Unfortunately due to the COVID, we cannot host a Ladies Tournament Luncheon this year because no restaurants can accommodate our Ladies. The 2020 Ladies Tournament rules and registration are attached.
