Welcome To The New Orleans Big Game Fishing Club
The New Orleans Big Game Fishing Club is a private club whose members share a passion for fishing the waters in the northern Gulf of Mexico in search of the many species of billfish, tuna, wahoo, and dolphin. The NOBGFC prides itself in one of the highest catch and release ratios of similar such clubs, and our efforts over many years have been widely recognized in conservation circles for the collection of very valuable scientific data on many of these highly migratory species, especially regarding blue and white marlin. Our Club members have enjoyed a rich 40 year history of fishing, fun, and friendships and we look forward to many more years of fish tales and fun beyond the waters of South Pass.

The 41st Annual New Orleans Invitational Billfish Tournament Date Announced!
The 2013 New Orleans Invitational Billfish Tournament will be held on June 14th and 15th at Cypress Cove Marina. The Captain's meeting and seafood boil will be held on Thursday, June 13th at 5:30pm. The awards ceremony, Calcutta presentation, and dinner will be held on Saturday night. Please contact Tournament Director Gino Rendeiro at 504.529.5100 or Charlie Caplinger at 504.582.2557.
Fish with the Ladies' on June 28th and 29th, 2013
The New Orleans Big Game Fishing Club will host the 2013 Annual Ladies' Invitational Tournament on June 28th and 29th. This outstanding tournament has become the biggest event in downtown Venice, La and grows each year.
The reception will begin on Thursday, June 27th at 5pm followed by the mandatory Captain's Meeting at 7pm. Hors d'oeurves and cocktails will be served at the Captain's Meeting along with a raffle. Lines in the water at 7am on June 28th with lines out at 4pm on June 29th, and scales closed at 6pm on the 29th. The Awards Ceremony with dinner and band will begin at 8pm on Saturday night. Get your team together now, because the best lady anglers will be in Venice soon!
